UHBristol Staff Resources

Care First

 

Care First is an organisation that provides assistance to staff with a number of services, including counselling, financial advice, bereavement support, relationship problems, CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy) and many more.  They provide these services to many NHS Trusts across the country so are familiar with the environment in which we work. 

 

As well as the telephone support (available through 0800 174319), there is a wealth of additional support to staff and managers online, by accessing the “Lifestyle” pages

Mental health & psychological wellbeing

Bristol Wellbeing Therapies (BWT) provides NHS funded psychological support for stress, anxiety and depression. BWT conduct all the assessments into this free and confidential service. Therapies are provided by a range of different providers for adults of all ages. 

 

The current wait for assessment is around a week. They can be booked by calling 0117 9823209
